There's a column on the Times Web site that seems interesting. It compares Dolan and Cuban, two billionaire owners with far different degrees of success.

Unfortunately, it's part of the Times' Select premium service, so I don't have access.

If anyone out there has access and would be kind enough to post the column here, it would be greatly appreciated.
