http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/20070320_Snider_made_call_to_cut_ties_with_Webber.html

Despite speculation elsewhere, Snider insisted - as he has all along - that Billy King remains in charge as the team's president/general manager, and that Maurice Cheeks is in solid position as the head coach. King, currently in China on a scouting mission, said recently that Cheeks' job was not in jeopardy and that he would be the coach next season. Cheeks had a year remaining on his contract, at his option, but was clearly pleased by King's statement.

Snider also said Larry Brown would remain in his position as executive vice president, serving as an adviser and consultant. Snider said, despite lingering speculation that Brown was ticketed for another administrative job or a coaching job with the team, there was no plan for Brown's role to change.

Brown is also free to pursue jobs elsewhere. The most recent speculation has him as a potential candidate to succeed Bernie Bickerstaff as coach of the Charlotte Bobcats. That speculation has been fueled, in part, by the emergence of Michael Jordan with the Bobcats in an ownership and administrative role.

"We didn't hire him to be our coach or general manager," Snider said. "That's totally ridiculous for people to tie the two together. Totally ridiculous. Billy is in charge, and so is Mo. It's absolutely definite."

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

There's nothing in that article that says he won't end up in Charlotte. Right now he's a glorified consultant for Philly and as the article states he's in a position that will allow him to pursue coaching jobs. Now he may not ever be coaching Philly but he will coach again.

I think Larry could do well in Charlotte. As opposed to what happened in NY. In Raymond Felton and Brevin Knight you have two pass first point guards. Gerald Wallace is a freak athlete who can pretty much do anything. Emeka Okafor is already a great defensive player. The one guy who I do think would be the odd-man out is Adam Morrison just because he's so one-dimensional at this stage in his game. Though the Bobcats have received some serious ass-kickings throughout the season I think for the most part they play hard every night. If anything Brown can pretty much work with any group as long as their committed to playing hard every night.

plus they have 2 picks this draft (their own high lotto pick and one from toronto) not to mention crazy cap room (and jordan said they're going to spend.) it's an ideal situation for any coach. and i agree, i think lb would do great there. plus the whole UNC connection and stuff.
