Anyone think we should do that?

Pick up McRoberts or maybe Noah (might slip) or even Jeff Green?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Josh McRoberts sucks plain and simple. I wouldn't dare take him in the lottery, he's slow, he's unathletic and he's overhyped. He's an oof.

Of coures anybody would and I would Draft Thaddus if he came out. Noah, McROberts and Green would be horrible picks!!!

I agree with mcroberts being a terrible pick in the lottery but what's wrong with Noah or green?

Channing AND the Chicago pick should get the knicks in the lottery. EASY! After durant and oden go, the rest of these picks could go anywhere.

The question with trading frye and the Chicago pick is what team would the knicks target and what team would jump on the deal?

Edit: Philly, Boston, Seattle, and Orlando might do it.

Philly already have enough small fwds with skill and upside. They could use frye and still pick up a decent player with the lower pick.

Orlando might hold on to the pick to replace grant hill if they miss the playoffs.

Seattle thinks they would be undefeated if they had rashard and ray at the start of the season so they might not be looking at the draft.

Boston needs oden. If they don't get him what direction are they gonna go. Who the hell knows?

I agree with Anji. If we do get in the lottery with this or any trade, Thaddeus Young is the way to go. He's a young sf with huge upside. He's a great athlete, a fine three point shooter and he's shown the ability to play good defense. He's not as nba ready as some of the names mentioned. But in time, he'll be the best player in the draft not named Oden or Durant.

channing's played so poorly i wonder how much this package would entice a team picking in the end of the lottery to trade down a few spots just to get channing frye?

would detroit, with orlando's pick at 14, trade down or want frye straight up for that pick? i think a team like that with multiple picks would be more tempted than a team high in the lottery since frye has been such a vag lately.

mcroberts would be a TERRIBLE pick. i'd look at taking green, noah, maybe spencer hawes? he'd be the perfect guy to get if we could move curry to the 5 or play them together. hawes is the type of player we want frye to turn into (but know he never can be), in terms of shotblocking and defense.

They'll never do that--the knicks--think about it. I think Frye has to play harder and smarter
