Francis told several NBA players of the buyout talks and that he was hoping to sign with Houston, where he lives during the offseason. Considering Francis' criticism of Jeff Van Gundy after being traded from Houston to Orlando three years ago, it is unlikely that the Rockets would have signed him.

I can't figure out where he would go. Stevie's still got skills no question, but with his knees going and the league obviously not letting him blatantly carry the ball like he did in his all-star year, he can't just go out there and ball like he's in Rucker Park anymore... the problem is that he still tries and gets called for palming violations and tries to do a crossover and just fumbles the ball/gets it stolen. I think for any team to sign him they'd have to agree that he'd adjust his game like Marbury has begun to over the past few months. I bet he'd love to go to LA and reunite with his man Mobley
^precocious neophyte.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Stevie couldn't play with Yao, Dwight or Curry. He is the type of player that needs to be the star of the team. But has never had the knowledge of the game to succeed dominating the ball. He is just a great talent who only knows how to use it in one on one situations. He's not unlike those guys you play with at the local Y that you don't want on your team. Fantastic players but they unintentionally and intentionally destroy your team chemistry

If I didn't see Stevie's name at the beginning of your post I surely thought you were talking about Marbury.

Maybe Bip isn't sure what he's saying and has to post twice just to make sure. Personally, I think Stevie Franchise plays like Nash, but just hasn't been given a chance. You just haven't been paying attention.

I don't think you are wrong when you say this. I mean they both dribble, they both shoot the ball. They both go to the gym. They both have teeth. And if I'm not mistaken they both use their legs to run.

I forgot that Bip usually posts everything twice regardless. Has been for the last 7 years.
