As you all know, Feb 28,2003 will be one of the most memorable moments in knicks history. #33 will go up the rafters symbolizing greatness. I, myself will be there and probably some of you as well. I wasn't really a huge Ewing fan but i realized how much he meant to the organization and how much effort and dedication he displayed on the court. Not only will former teammates, past coaches but a few of his Dream Team sidekicks will be present. Many of us will feel the emotional effect when Ewing comes forth to the mike to express his feelings, but when he does, Knick fans including myself will let him know how much he was deeply appreciated. One simple question! What was the one thing you'll always remember about Patrick??? Feel free to comment.

Just one thing? Hmm, Patrick Ewing was a roller coaster ride. There were so many great days and a lot of bad days. But through it all, Ewing gave his blood, swear and tears to this team. From him coming back from that wrist injury to hoping on one leg against Alonzo Mourning in Game 5. Ewing was just awesome. You cannot measure his greatness or his career by how many championships he won. Ewing was a champion. Plain and simple. He did everything he could do. He has nothing to be ashamed about. I'm proud of The Big Fella and thank him for everything.

BTW, I'm going on Friday and I'm gonna cheer like never before. The goal of the entire MSG crowd should be to make Patrick Ewing cry and feel the love and appreciation.

jeez there were many things. i think the one thing that stuck out of my mind was when he jammed down the starks miss during game seven in the 94 playoffs to get the win against indiana. close number two is when he single handedly destroyed the boston celtics in game 7 of the 90 playoffs. he was so hot that he hit an off balance three pointer. he was determined. third was the throwdown he did over zo in game one of the disappointing 97 playoffs. that was nasty.

I sure wish Patrick could suit up, just one more time, for the game.
