He is one of my favorite players right now. He's no scalabrine. I think this guy can play. I'm not sure of his status, but if he was available would you guys take a look? He would be a low priced scorer. Wish the knicks had him now.

^^^ha

I like the dude. Is he worth the mid-level? I don't think so. Maybe half the mid-level.

He's not a break neck athlete but he can shoot it and he can drive it. And he has been known to dunk it on people.

Boki burger is a cool name for him by the way.

I'm not too sure about Boston Snackbar, myself.

Eny, as you may know, I own Nachbar in the Enyspree classic, so I have been watching him pretty closely. He is extremely talented. I think he is making Richard Jefferson tradable. RJ is sort of redundant with Carter, and the Nets' biggest need is a real power forward.

I'm thinking it going to go down like this:

Nets Trade: RJ + the Net's lottery pick (That's right they miss the playoffs.)

Pacers trade: Jermaine O'neal (Disgruntled. That's what happen when you diss Isiah, all the players get pissed.)

Or something along those lines. It may not be the Pacers, but I think that is where it's going. The Nets suck this year but I think they will be good again next year after Thorn does his thing.

Next year's Nets lineup:

Kidd
Carter
Nachbar
O'Neal/other premiere power forward
Krstic

With Collins and Moore coming off the bench.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

No way. Scalabrine robbed Boston.

If the knicks could sign nachbar for half the mid-level, would you guys mind? Getting a 2 player split wouldn't be bad if there was no other way to upgrade.

Or it could just be the enypee.

phew, i was about to send you some oxygen.... and, i would love nachbar for 1/2 the mle, but he is at $2.5M per now through 2008. if he continues to play well, 1/2 the mle wont cut it in 2 yrs.

what i like about nachbar is his aggression. he started as a typical euro shooter big man and now when you look at him he is always looking to dunk the ball or get a layup
^precocious neophyte.

he's got more athleticism than i thought, but i don't think he's what we need... we have guys who can dunk & score in transition... we need a gritty shotblocking defender in the paint & a perimeter shooter who can guard guys on the perimeter.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
