Hmm, aren't Bosch and Varejao slated as the 4th and the 5th pick?

Would love to get my hands on Bosch but if we don't get the 3rd pick or better, fugeddaboutit.

If we stay put, and pick around 9th

I'd go for

1. James Lang or
2. Sofoklis Schortsianides(whateva) or
3. Most talented player left no matter what the position.

What this team needs is an injection of something exciting, and something european. Pick the GREEK.

although the greek's comparison to Eddy Curry isn't tantalizing. and 6-9 is not great size for a center... he is still growing though, as of now he's just 17 years old, but still... but he could be a PF, but he looks a little wide, in the alton ford mold, the PHX PF who is a monster but never seems to play for some crazy unknown reason. think Greek Jahidi White.

Kedrick Perkins is also interesting, but he's also a little on the smaller side for a center at 6-10, and is probably rawer than Greek Baby Shaq, who has been playing professional for a couple seasons already, can you believe that?! greek dude has been a pro and he's not 18 yet. he's got to have some skills and been coached decently, and compared to Perkins, might be quicker at adjusting... Perkins has never played professionally or gotten that type of training... James Lang, I don't know why he's not listed anymore... but he should be interesting, haven't heard much about him other than his crazy size, but size isn't everything or else Chris Marcus would be in the lotto (besides his multiple injuries). Chris Marcus has skills but status has deteriorated so quickly. He really should be the first pick of the 2nd round, which could be a steal. Marcus has a hook shot. How many guys use that anymore? Marcus could do something to speed up, and add a some toughness, but the guy is really huge, and looked liked he could have been the "poor man's" version of Tim Duncan playing center... although now, he seems like he's going to go the way of Bryant "Big Country" Reeves or Todd MacCollough. Sad

What I like about Lang is that they rave about his athleticism and his quickness, especially for a guy his size. Sure the kid is raw like hell and a gamble but it seems to me if we don't get a top 5 pick he's the best "big" we can take. As for Sofoklis, it seems he's a pf by play, even if he does grow another inch or two. We should concentrate on talented size and Lang or Sofoklis look like good options for now.

I´ve voted to Zarko because he has impressed me with his elegance and his intelligence on the court. I don´t know the american guys skills but Sofoklis and Varejao have a game bassed in a spectacular explosiveness. I think is a question of what kind of basket you want, argentinians players showed it. I´ve could wacht in T.V. games of the three guys and Cabarkapa know the game like a veteran.

Is Sofoklis Schortsianitis this year's ultimateknicks' NENE (favorite for the 7th pick, from last year)?

I have a feeling he will be again...

Only for us to lose out on him

Ok, if people like sweetney so much, i.e. fishmike, why has no one voted for him in this poll?
