I think his injury is a lot worse than anyone is letting on.

He's got a sharp pain in his right leg almost three-four weeks after the injury? Does not sound good.

I'd be surprised if we made the playoffs without Lee for the rest of the season. ugh.

I want him back, but not at the risk of him hurting himself worse.

Take your time Lee, this season is not that important that you should play at a risk of further injury!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

well according to what I've read, a serious peroneal tendon strain can take up to 6 weeks to fully heal. so we may be without him for most of or even all of the home stand
^precocious neophyte.

If the doctor's have told him he can do no more damage to the tendon, he should play thru the pain and heal in the offseason. But if its something that could get worse, then obviously let the man heal.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I don't want him playing through the pain on the Knicks' medical staff's advice.Remember what happened with Ewing and Houston...it's too risky.

He's killing my fantasy league team though.

here is the problem with lee- he is an energy player- if he isn't 100%, he isn't effective.

I don't want to use Marbury as an example, but clearly he has been less than 100% and he can still be effective.

franco,

wouldn't it be interesting to see a DLee who has to learn how to be effective by other means? As he ages, he won't have the same insane hops and without challenges like this, he won't learn as quickly to work on the other parts of his game.

We have yet to see if that is true or not. Lee is smart, I think he can be effective without 100% of his athletic ability.

If he is killing your team then you must have a pretty bad team.
