from ESPN.com:
Lakers seek to add Pippenposted: Friday, March 9, 2007 | Print Entry
filed under: Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Marko Jaric

Phil Jackson is convinced Scottie Pippen can help the Lakers, but Los Angeles might have to cut someone to make room for him on the roster.

I asked Jackson about Pippen tonight after the Lakers arrived 50 minutes late at the arena in Philadelphia because of traffic, and Jackson disclosed that the Lakers have been in touch with the league office to inquire about the possibility of adding a 16th player, which would allow them to sign Pippen to a 10-day contract.

The problem, however, is that in order to get an additional roster spot, the Lakers need to have four injured players sidelined at the same time for 14 consecutive days. Chris Mihm and Vladimir Radmanovic account for two of those spots, but Lamar Odom won't reach 14 days until a week from Sunday, and Luke Walton is expected back before then.

well, assuming this thing gets done somehow, what do you guys think?

I never thought I'd hear that bums name again! Auh crap!!! What a jordan side kick showoff that MF was! I still can't believe he was one of the 50 greatest players of all time. What a joke. I thought you were posting that he died or something like that! Crap!
I'll never trust this' team again.

I hate Pippen
and the Bulls too but give the man some credit. He help Jordan win titles and he did his part. He played some awesome defense and scored enough to help the Bulls win. But the Lakers wanting to sign him is nothing but being Desperate. Why doesn't Phil ask Jordan to comeback while he is at it.

Well' Pippen fan! Just because he and that bald headed freak beat our Knicks in the playoffs three times, and to go onto win three of their six championship rings, doens't mean I have to be a fan (say what kind of Knick fan are you). When I say I hate them, I really mean 'I hate them'! They get zero respect from me. I hope no one wants to fight me on this, because I just won't believe it.
I'll never trust this' team again.
