They are tied with Orlando for the 8th spot but the knicks have the tie breaker!

Good reason to drink a brew at 4am.

I would suggest that you enjoy it while it last. Never know what this team might do. The playoffs would be a nice thing though.
I'll never trust this' team again.

This was actually a quote from David Waldstein in todays NJ Online.

>>If they win the remainder of their 19 games, they are ensured of their first playoff berth in three years.

19-0? piece of cake.

sheesh.

All we really need to do is beat Toronto, Orlando, and New Jersey at least once more over the final 19 games and play .500 against the rest of the league. Between Indy, Orlando, and New Jersey, two of them are going to fall apart and we can remain in as the 7th or 8th seed. The head-to-head matchups are key though because those are a guaranteed 1 game swing in our favor.
Trust the Process

At the gym today, as I was riding the stationary bike, these three guys were talking about basketball. Well that francis game winner came up. Turns out one of the dudes was a diehard knick fan. The other two jokers were clowning him. They were making me mad so I had to cut my biking short. As I passed them, I said to them "well with that francis shot last night the knicks are technically in the playoffs cuz the knicks have the tie breaker with Orlando. The two jokers were speechless. I high fived my knick brother and walked off towards the weight room.

Classic.

Go freakin knicks!

with Indi's freefall we should be in a tie for 7th when the Toronto game starts.

Q better be back for that game
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

that Toronto game is huge. It'd be very nice to have both Lee and QRich healthy and ready to go.

That game i going to be a match-up battle. They won't be able to defend Curry and Curry won't be able to defend the small lineups they throw out there.

Should be a good game for Frye, he should be able to get more time matching up with their eurotrash on D.

MAN I hope Lee can come back. Q should be OK by then. We'd be at near full strength minus Jamal. We need that against Toronto. They can be a tough team, but i think we're up to the task. They have strengths and so do we. I think we just need to be somewhat healthy. This next 2 weeks is gonna be HUGE!!! It's already a playoff atmosphere, starting with that Wiz game. From now on it'll be intense just about every game.

Q would help keep some of the triple teams off of Curry too.

I liked seeing him work to get shots more at the end of the Wiz game. I think he expects too much of the guards sometimes to giftwrap him points deep in the post while he's just standing there.

My fear is Lee isn't coming back.

The leg hasn't responded in two weeks. Not a good sign.

Marbury must ignore the pain in his foot and knee. Quentin gotta see an acupuncture specialist.

Rookies Renaldo Balkman and Mardy Collins must make positive contributions over the next two weeks. Jared Jeffries must play like every night is in MCI Center.

Channing Frye just gotta take the shot. Malik Rose gotta stop being delusional in thinking he has a jumper.

... and can someone please get Steve Francis' Grandma airfare and tickets to all the rest of the games?
