who is better right now?

I will say this the celtics and the sixers will be highly improved next year and Tornto will get better---I have a feeling that we are in a status quo for the most part--like IT likes the team he has and wants it to stay together---if we dont make the playoffs this year--I will say no excuses--the east is TERRIBLE and they may need a a reasonable alteration to the team.

Speaking of being on fire, Sixers just won their 6th in a row.
They should consider resigning Miller. They could be pretty good next season.

ainge has done a great job, I think, of assembling a ton of young talent- at some point, he might need to make a deal, but he will have the assets to do so.

I'd trade with either the celts or sixers.

anyone watching the nets? brutal they're done i guess any team can get lucky a few games and win it the way things are going? but boy they look like a shell of a team that was once good. spare parts around two guys who are showing some wear and tear from carrying the team. they have nothing left in the tank. indiana is tanking--i mean all we have to do is play hard and put even a modest 4 game winning streak together--i mean if the sixers can???

Shaq is better than Wade. Wade is a great player. Shaq is an all-timer and makes his whole team better just by standing on the court.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Philly, Toronto, and Boston will all be better than NYK next yr if the Knicks don't make some serious moves this offseason. they MUST shore up the perimeter D, add a shotblocker (draft sean williams!), and improve the shooting from the outside. how they do that is anyone's guess but if they don't i'm guessing all of those teams will leapfrog us.

boston in particular is going to be mighty good. if they get a top 2 pick and land durant or oden, add that to jefferson, gerald green, delonte, the truth, i mean that squad could get real good real fast (they need a new coach but the talent is there its just young). philly has a ton of draft picks in what should be the deepest draft in years.

knicks need to make a good draft pick (something isiah has proven he CAN do) and make some progressive offseason moves without spending insane amounts of money or overpaying (something isiah has proven he CANNOT do).

the ship be sinking? only time will tell.

artest.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I can put my hands up and say, I honestly doubted Al before this year. He was soooooooo hyped for the past 2 years and did nothing for it. My feeling is that Perce going down was the best thing that could possibly have happened for his carreer, but I want to see what he does next year. Does he do a Mike James, or does he build on this?

I have a friend who is a Celtics fan, and I have a friendly $5 bet on best record for the year Knicks/Celts. Granted Im still probably going to win, but I would never have made the bet if I thought Al was going to be anywhere near this good.

Al started to turn in on as the trading deadline came near. There was a lot of talk in the Boston media of "should we just trade the kid, and if we don't, will he suck again after the deadline passes" and he realized if he likes being a Celtic he better turn it on.

Also,he had his appendix out and came back twenty pounds lighter. He was never a heavy kid, but now he is just quick as all hell.
