>>The Knicks are 3-3 in the past six games without their best rebounder, which doesn't show a whole lot because they've been basically a .500 team since mid-December with or without Lee.

How much does Does Lee improve the Knicks W-L record?

djsu, what say ye?

Why is that a trick question? Sounds like pure speculation to me.

No lee, no Craw, but Starbury returned and Malik with more minutes is more effective.

Perhaps 4-2 but we'd be less banged up.

No mention of Nay Nate?

Elite - 4 and 2 would be nice.

Panos - would you agree that at least 85 per cent of what is posted is speculation?

This thread has been touched on already before and the point you're trying to prove will backfire on you. I'll just wait until a few more post show up before EXPOSING.

The Russian idiom sad:
"If and else mushrooms will grow in the mouth,
It will be not a mouth but whole forest"
I don't know English analog... but should be something...
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

Then this team is in a pretty good place, because they were not doing that well against sub-.500 squads, with him in the lineup.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Most teams are missing players at various points of the year. Would you give Miami Crawford Lee and Nate for Wade-I rest my case--oh yeah Miami has been winning games:)

With Lee in the lineup AND Marbury playing like Superman, this team should win 5 of 6 against sub .500 teams.

I agree with that. The Knicks' starting 5 has been relatively healthy this year. I don't think Steph, Jamal, Q, Lee, and Curry have missed more games than the average starting 5. (Those are the 5 most important players at their positions; so I'm focussing on them.)

No I wouldn't I would give them Curry, Nate, and Crawford for Wade. However they wouldn't do that......

Ill take my chances with

Collins
Wade
Balkman
Lee
Frye

>>Bonn - here's the trick part... does Marbury play like Superman with Lee (and Jamal) in the rotation?

I have a sense the chemical balance of the Knicks is a delicate thing because of the type of depth on the roster. You have Doctor Dracula, Steve, ready to shut it down for the season and suddenly return from the grave to score 26 points.

You have Nate The formerly Great trying anything anything to gain attention. The silent but deadly Mardy Collins, impersonating Chollie Ward taking out PJ Brown, and thrust into the lineup.

You have the seven-foot comic relief twins - Jerome James and Kelvin Cato - in the same seats held by Travis Knight and Slavko Vranes, nailed to the pine.

You have Jared Jeffries afraid to shoot and Malik Rose hoisting like World B Free. Every time he shoots I cringe.

What kinda ish is that?
