I never saw any channel with this amouts of outages, problems, and with such boring biased talking heads.

What about the 3 same commercials?

I wouldnt know because I dont even watch msg unless a knicks game is on.

Everything associated with MSG is all propaganda all the time. It's pathetic. You can't take anything that anybody associated with MSG says seriously. It's sad. They used to be one of the better sources for news and opinions for NY sports. Now it's just state run rah rah garbage.

Now throw in the fact that I have to watch tonight's Islanders home game against the Rangers with the MSG announcers and I'm totally annoyed.

It amaizing so many people can keap the job and do nothing or crap... Sad...

YES Network has only been in business a short time--yet are clearly a superior channel with a nice set-up. Can you imagine if mSG had M+M Dog as one of the flagship shows? Never happen--but it's better programming than the 8th running of the Boston-NY poker tourney or showing the Knick game all day every day --3 days after the game has been played:)

Knicks need two draft picks just so MSG can show the summer league games because they have no baseball:)

i never watch MSG unless i'm watching a Knicks game... those half hour tributes to Ewing & Houston they produced were pathetic compared to the Yankeeographies that you see on YES.

Cant they tape their own events?--even on a re-run--some of the entertainment showed @ msg would surely be a pretty big hit on TV. Just because it says MSG--why does that signify a sports programming network only--thats kind of archaic thinking--msg should play all kinds of entertainment shows--not just sports.

all i know is that the YES network has extensive pregame and postgame.
they talk to the coach about strategies. then in post game you see full press conferences from everybody.

raptors tv does the same thing to.

msg has dropped off so much that all it's good for is 2 1/2 hours of knicks basketball action and that's it.

the pre and postgames may be some of the worst in the biz.

i dvr NBA Daily from the YES channel... their coverage of the game highlights is so much better than any of the other sports channels.

Yes Network at least with the Net games (I don't really watch anything else on the station) is 10 times better than the Knicks especially if Jim Sparnacle(sp) and Marv are doing the color commentating. Sparnacle he gives actual basketball insight and you can tell the guy definetly does his homework on each team. Of course Marv I grew up on the guy doing Knick games one of the best in the business.
However anytime I realize Mark Jackson is doing the game I immediately change the station or put it on mute. If there's a good point guard playing that night or if Kidd is having a good game he immediately starts with the comparsions of himself. Newsflash Mark you weren't that good and even at your prime you would get smoked but most point guards in today's game. Oh and thanks for bringing down the organization when you came back to NY.


On the Knick side the only commentator that can remotely tolerate is Walt Frazier and thats saying something. Kenny Smith is the biggest jack ass ever! I don't know maybe he's angling for a front-office Job maybe a coaching job I don't know but to listen to him you would think it was someone doing commentating on his friend whose shooing hoops in his driveway. Mike Breen is just another low-budget Bob Costas incredibly sanctimonious. The rest of the commentators sounds like a bunch of school boys talking about their idols.

Dolan ****ed the whole network up when he gave the yes network marv.

And any station that gives Jerome Williams a show should be shut down, they would do fine if they just showed a knicks game everyday from the 90's, I know everyeone here would watch, they should do more indepth player profiles, should have gotten an espn personality to do a show, etc.....
