I want to see if Frankie is worthy of challenging Vujanic for our future starting PG. What better time than now with Ward out of action. He should back up Eisley for about 15 mins a game IMO.

This is something I have been waiting to see for a long time. Frankie getting some forced playing time. There is no reason for him to be on the IR when Postel is riding pine. Bad play and all, the guy has got to get some PT to learn some experience.

Don't worry if Charlie is out for an extended period of time the knicks will bring back Rick Brunson or better yet Gerald Henderson out of retirement.
Let Frankie play, this guy has serious talent but he needs to play.

Frank Williams has to be able to come alive at some point. He's big, a good defender, a decent shooter, penetrates well, and sees the floor well. Milos Vujanic and Williams are probably pretty equal in all these categories, only Vujanic is a much better shooter and scorer. I think Vujanic has the potential to become an all-star point guard, while Williams can become a good point guard as well, being one of the best back-up point guards in the game. I'm hoping he can start putting up some numbers at the end of this year to at least give us an idea of what he's capable of doing.

Frank Williams will emerge as a bonifide pg for the knicks. I must admit Layden did good on this one. Hey, he's a 1st round pick. He just haven't had the chance to play. Now, he's got the opportunity to strut his stuff since charlie ward has been put on the injured list. When he first arrived, he was definitely lacking confidence and totally confused. Watching the team play and participating in all the practices has benefited him heavily. To me , frank williams is the real deal.

I thought he looked pretty good against the Warriors, all things considered. Give the kid a chance; we still don't know what his potential is.

I don't know how Frank Williams is going to make it in this league with that jumper. He has the slowest release I've ever seen.

In College, He was the real thing. The only knock on him was his jump shot which we've seen previously. Give him some time in the league and he'll work on that his release when shooting the basketball.
