Anyone else sick of hearing that every time the Knicks lose? Tonight it was Watson.

Is it our D or is it that everyone comes out with their best stuff in the Garden?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Don't worry, defense is for next year. Or some BS like that.

the first couple of time they left him open, in the first half.
then he was just hitting shots, it didn't help you watson and allen to worry about, throw in lewis who was also hitting the 3 ball. you couldnt leave anyone, but you also had to double allen, so someone always got open. Seattle did a good job of passing the ball and Watson and Lewis hit big shots.

Part of it is that our D stinks, but these teams that come to the Garden do play harder here. They always have. The Garden is also a PERFECT shooting background, with the way they dim the lights on the crowd and light up only the court. But mostly it's our D. We just don't do the right thing on the perimeter.

On that last 3 by Rashard, Quentin looked right at him and could've ran out to contest the shot, but he didn't. We have that happen a lot and until we can improve we're gonna be up and down. I think we CAN play better D and hopefully one day this team will. Guys like Balkman and Collins will eventually have more of an impact. Hopefully we can add another Defensive big.

^ 100% agreed. To quote Stephen A, we need a DAWG down low.

I actually think Curry should have been on the play where they threw the pass into lewis and he threw malik down. You needed a big body in the paint, rose had to over work to get position and worked himself out of the play, with a little push from lewis. That pass doesnt make it in if curry or frye are in the game and in the paint

That's the million dollar question right now. Lee's the closest thing we have to a DAWG but his defense isn't there yet.

You have lots of Dogs on this team.

When you watch this team you can see how close they are to really having something. If i'm Isiah i'm looking for an athletic Defender/Shotblocker and I think we need another pure shooting SG or SF. Someone to give teams something to worry about, so they can't cheat in on Curry so much.

I like what we have so far and I think we are talking about just a bit more help to round out this team.

Frye and Craw for Dalembert and a pick. That would give you some nasty weak side D, and boards.

I don't think Philly would bite on that. Besides Dalembert is kind of stiff. I was looking for someone who was a bit more agile and had more game.

The ideal player we're missing is basically Charles Oakley
- he can feed the post to Curry
- he's a nasty rebounder
- he makes up for Curry's defense
- he's a great pick and roll partner for Steph

Noah is going to be gone in the draft before we get a chance. Not sold on McRoberts or Hansbrough. Gonna have to find a sleeper like Alvis Wyatt.

well that's easy we just clone the oakman. in fact we clone him twice. one so oakley can start, and one oakley to come off the bench when oakley gets tired. ah yes a flawless plan. *steeples fingers and melds back into the shadows*

Tyson Chandler is the perfect compliment to Curry. Probably could have had him last yr when he got off to the bad start.
