I a tired, exhausted Knick fan that is always waiting for the Knicks to make the right move but they never do. Now staying put may be a good idea, but I really feel they should have made a run at Vladimir Radmonivic.
In his limited minutes last night against the Knicks he looked like Dirk Nirwoski. He is young, tall, athletic and can shoot - a type of player the Knicks never had. Even if we had to eat some contracts, so be it, we're already in a deep hole, but the contracts we would have taken back would have been players we needed. (James/Booth/Potapenko)

The knicks never take chances on young players with potential. Look at Donnie Walsh from the Pacers, he took a chance on some young players and look at his team now.
We really don't know what goes on behind closed doors at the garden, but I assure you there is some corporate money making objective.

I'm sick of just trying to get the 8th seed so we can lose in the first round (7 game first round, more likely to be knocked out).
So these "cable guys" can make more money in the present, instead of building for a prosperous future.

These "cable guys" would do everyone a favor if they sold the Knicks and the rest of the Garden assets to someone who cares about putting the best possible product on the floor. If it means rebuilding, then so be it. But don't try to fool us with over-rated & over-paid players who barely get us in the playoffs and continue to do it year in and year out.

Get use to it. The Knicks are not going to be among the elite teams for at least 3-4 years. With their aging roster and cap problems there is no magic wand that can be waved to make it go away as long as Dolan and Cablevision own the Knicks. There is no commitment to rebuild, therefore the Knicks will be a team that will battle for a 6-8 playoff spot but never seriously challenge for the championship.

Same for the Rangers in the NHL. How many years in a row have they failed to even make the playoffs. This year, Dolan says something like "the Rangers will make the playoffs" to which the NY press responded "So what? Where's the Cup?"

Dolan and Cablevision are vying for the title of worst sports team owners of the 21st century.

As far as trades, you have to give to get. Layden wants a team's superstar or young talent and wants to give them mediocre talent at high prices in return. Layden's short-sighted, mediocre-talent deals have put him in the position where he's unable to deal people.

I pretty much disagree fellas! Th Knicks have been playing decent without McDyess. As a knicks fan, you just have to hold it down. I understand how frustrating it can be but just have some patience and things will start to get better. As for getting Radmonovic, i don't agree with that one. You never know, maybe he'll be a star in the future but this kat can't play defense in order o save his life. He's soft! Even if the knicks had any interest,no one on the knicks roster matches with Radmonovic's contract. He makes 1.5m per yr and as of now the Knicks desperately needs some muscle up front. Radmonovic doesn't fit that role.
The Future. GO KNICKS!
