actually, Indiana has been spiraling downwards lately. they've lost 5 in a row and their new lineup doesn't seem to be clicking. I could see Indiana falling back in the playoff chase.

Basically, we're tied with Orlando and a game behind the Nets for the final playoff spot. We're also 2 1/2 behind Miami and Indiana, in case one of them should falter. We're also 4 1/2 behind Toronto, the division leader. I don't know if we have what it takes to pull it out, but we're showing more grit. It's nice to be in the hunt this time of year.

I was going to post something similar this morning. It looks like the Pacers are going to fall. I knew that trade they pulled off was stupid. Simply stated, Dunleavey sucks and I would much rather have Jackson and Harrignton despite Jackson's off the court issues. Mullin pulled off the steal of the season getting those two from Indy for two bad contracts.

Orlando and Pacers are taking a fall. So that leaves, Miami, NJ, and us in the playoffs. All we need to do is play around .550 ball for the remainder of the season and beat Toronto, NJ, and Orlando at least once more this season. We play Toronto twice this month and I think Orlando once.
Trust the Process

I feel confident we are going to be in the playoffs, what makes this race so uniquie is we could place any where from 8th to 4th. The fact that we play the Raptors 3 more times is big, If we get serious in those games, we can gain some serious ground.
