the knicks practice facility...the ultimateknicks...and a basketball...

LIVE from the knicks practice facility...

as a season ticket holders, jimimou and i were offered an opportunity to have an open gym at the knicks practice facility in tarrytown, ny. i picked up the phone and asked if i could bring a few people. they said sure. so 7 of us made it up there. the 8th was a guy that worked for the knicks and we got four awesome 4-on-4 games in. they made us all sign waivers before we started...and looking at the guts we were all sporting, it was probably a good idea. an ambulance was also on hand in case we needed a defibrillator. i let them know marv wasn't here so they didn't need to worry.


here's allanfan20 with the sweet stroke. not for nothin' but this guy is big. 6'4 and at one point, posted me up like shaq on muggsy bogues. (editor's note: i should've flopped and called offensive foul)



killa taking it "strong" to the hole. (editor's note: he made the shot)



...and then proceeded to run to halfcourt.



upon seeing this, enyspree wasn't gonna play around. so he made sure he was gonna get his off today too...



let's just call this one...90 minutes of hell...(editor's note: this pic was taken after 7 minutes of action)



after 4 straight games...and 4 straight losses...evil and allanfan were quite upset.



...ok, evil was VERY upset. (editor's note: hmmm, where have i seen that look before?)

all in all, everyone had a great time. thanks to the knicks staff for the hookup. nobody died although i am not going to be able to get out of bed tomorrow. i'll let the other guys give you a complete breakdown and analysis of how each of us played. i gotta run and sit in a tub of icy hot...

i can relate deej, just ran full court for the 1st time in like 6 months, and im not winded, im tornadoed.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Just to let guys know, we had a blast!!!!
Some of us can ball.
Unfortunately, I can no longer be counted among that group.
I am officially the C. Webb of UK.
If you will recall I kind of blew my knew out in July, so this was my first time on the court since then. Knee didn't bother me at all, but I had the vertical of Tim Duncan. I was jumping maybe 3 inches off of the ground, when i still had the ability to jump. And after a patented spin around ala LJ in the paint for a finish with the left, something happened in my back and I was never the same since. I never jumped again.

In fact, as I right this I am still not the same. I just went to the hospital to see my daughter (she was a preemy, but shes doing great) and I am walking so crazy, they tried to direct me to the ER!!!

This is called getting old. Go in the game worried about a knee problem, leave with a back problem. I'm going to laydown right now and watch the game I missed last night, but I am still so glad I went.

That was fun. I'm pissed. My teams lost 4 games. I didn't get one victory. That hurt. Speaking of hurt. My feet are torn up. I haven't played that much since July.

Yo, I was very surprised that no one was terrible. I'd be down to play again. I have some losses to avenge.
