Celtics radio analyst Cedric Maxwell apologized on the air last night for saying that a female referee should "go back to the kitchen" after he disagreed with one of her calls.

Maxwell made the comment during the Celtics' 77-72 victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday. He subsequently said "Go in there and make me some bacon and eggs, would you?" in reference to referee Violet Palmer.

This was prolly already discussed but LOL this is funny

That is so crazy its unreal. What the hell is wrong with people? Especially former atheletes. They are too arrogant. To tell you the truth I think they were all on the roids or at least the coke hard. Too damn hyper to think before they say ****.

Atheletes, on the whole, are not very bright people. Most of them have been treated special since childhood, havent learned much about the world except 'they are special' and they pick up all of the ignorant things our society teaches people and it never gets corrected.

I mean when you think of Tim Hardaway being stupid enough, not to think it, but to say publicly that he HATES gay people? Thats pretty high-powered stupid right there. But atheletes are a stupid group of people, save for a small percentage.
