I know it is only one game, but for the first time this season, Jeffries looked like him might actually be worth his salary. He was making jumpshots, playing solid defense, and getting rebounds. He still has terrible hands and I think Balkman will be a far better SF in two more years, but I was happy to see him actually have a good game. Hopefully, he can start to play at or near that level every game.

As you said, it's only one game. We can hope that we'll see more of the same. The Wizards did want him back at pretty much the same thing we were willing to pay, so you'd think he had more game than what we've been seeing until now.

he's a 6 & 5 career player... he's going to have games where he puts up decent stats, but for the most part he's a bit role player off the bench... i really don't expect him to put up any offensive #'s... i just want to see him play some lockdown defense, because that's why he was brought here to begin with... he played better defensively last night, but so far i haven't seen the defensive presence he was being billed as being this season.
