since everyone is talking about signing back players that were once retired, i was thinking that maybe, just maybe, we need houston. just hear me out. we are still paying him this year, which is his last year under contract. he is not that old for a backup. look at armstrong. plus he is probably in better shape right now than miller or pippen. we need outside shooting. houston can provide it. true he needs to play in spurts and he could get injured again with his creaky knees. not to mention the awful defense. but he is one of our best bets. it has happened before. i remember the 99-00 season, i believe, when kidd went down and the management used levin johnson to replace him. kj said that it was sort of like being in the reserves. if you get a call for duty, you report. he did well leading that team back in the playoffs. kj had a three year layoff before then. so why can't we do the same thing and utilize what we have? we can't rely on q rich and nate to provide the outside shooting. zones will kill us.

If Allan came back im sure the insurance company would be interested.

Having not played in over two years, I doubt he can get it back.

This talk of Pip and Miller is all talk so far and little to show for it.

Michael Jordan can help us more even in his bloated stage.

Its nice to think such good thoughts, but allan would need many months to get back in shape and his timing.

And the Knee? there was a reason he retired.

Houston can't b/c insurance is picking up his contract now, and I also believe ESPN now forbids him to do that, b/c of the deal with them he has this year. I only read that in some article though, awhile back.

But yeah, having Houston would work nicely right about now.

64.5% is Jamal Crawford's shooting percentage in the last 3 minutes of games!

I hate Houston! Lol.

Anyway, Houston probably could still play. He could be Dell Curry. Just come in and spot up. Play your 15-20 mins and make the opposing teams clutch their saks everytime you get a open 3.

He said he didn't have the lift anymore. He still wanted to be 20pt per game Houston. Nothing wrong with 9pts per game sniper.

Francis is another guy that needs to reinvent himself. He can't do 20+/7/7 anymore. Nothing wrong with 12/3/5 as long as you are efficient.

Anyway, everyone wanted to bench Craw for Q because of his defense. Ask and you shall receive.
