after watchikng the game last night it was too clear. portland exposed or weakness to the fullest. we need a true center bad. He doesn't hve to be the best center in the league just decent. I do recall the whole story with Rasho (Twolves) and how he wants to play for the knicks.(Correct me if im wrong) He is a very decent center that is somewhat atletic. then there is eric dampier. i was on the espn board and the talk was that he is a free agent this year. hes alright i never really see him play but i bet he would be better than trade for seattle's james or booth. then there is stanley roberts. we should work him out maybe throw a little money at him for a year see if he can play. could be a real diamond in the rough or could be a disaster waiting to happen. i would really like to hear some thoughts on these guys or maybe a better player i didn't think about.
I agree with you I came out of the Portland game thinking the samething. Rasho would be great for the Knicks but he has a propensity to foul out of games. He is one of the leaders in that category. I would take him on the team though he is 7'2'' and that is just what the Knicks need. As far as Dampier just not a fan of his he plays with poor attitude and seems disinterested. I think Foyle is the better of the two. Foyle is listed at 6'10'' and I don't know if that is any better than KT. They have to be thinking 7' and above.
Dampier has a long contract, not going to be a free agent anytime soon. But he is huge and jacked. He has skills. Can you blame Dampier for not being interested, and playing like that? He's been on the warriors for years, a team that is in the same class of Clippers, Cavs, the current Bulls, and Grizzlies for hoarding great young talents and destroying them by keeping them in miserable circumstances.
