Last 13 games...

7.8 ppg
33.8 % FG (40 FGM/118 FGA)...70 of these FGA's are ptrs (59.3% of Q's shots are 3's)
29.5% 3FG (20 3PTM/70 3PTA)

His boards are decent...that's about it.

I don't want to hear about injuries either. Isiah sees Q fit enough to play over 35 mpg...so NO INJURY EXCUSES!

I think he needs to sit, good post i had no idea how ineffective he has been. We need him to play well. If he cant give us anything then dont take minutes from someone like Balkman who can

DUDE! The guy had a bad elbow injury and it's still bothering him. Just look at an old tape of his shooting motion and you can see that he's not fully extending his arm like he used to. He also has some minor dings like the one to his upper chest for which he was wearing a pad. He's still working hard out there tho. So i'm not that upset with his game.

His shot is off but he still contributes. I haven't paid attnetion to stats but didn't he have 8 boards recently?

He's out there for his veteran salary/seniority (hey, blame Isiah, not me) and his leadership/chemistry with Crawford and Curry. And he tries defensively.

I could see giving Balkman some of his minutes, but otherwise who? Nate? Skinny? I'll take Q-Broke.

q's the only guy out there bustin' tail on both ends of the court (sans marbury, who plays defense when he wants to). he always has to guard the opposing teams best swingman. he's also one of the FEW guys we have that know how to play the game. and he has to park his ass 30 feet from the basket b/c eddy's the low post guy.

with that said, he's never been a good % shooter (like briggs said) and he's not one of those guards that can take it off the dribble. and to top it all off, his back makes him a part time player with no explosion.

but there's a reason there are very few critical threads about lee and quentin b/c despite their flaws, effort is never questioned nor do they look confused or scared out there at any time. in quentin's case, he's probably the only player on this roster that would've fit in with the ewing teams.
