Just a hypothetical...
He'll be Traded before 2009
He'll Opt out In 2009
He'll Opt out In 2010
He'll Sign Another Contract After 2010

No replies?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

oh wow you can reply to this. i voted "He'll sign after 2010". basically as long as isiah is here i think curry will be too. which might not be a bad thing if he can learn to play defense and rebound

i can really see a scenario where isiah gets fired in the next 2 years, and in 08 when Curry's up for an extension, management and him have a rift b/c he hasn't been living up to his potential STILL.........and we trade him b/c no extension...

I can more easily envision an Allan Houston scenario where we give up more than double what any other team would give up for him. Heck, we already did that once for Eddy!

Depends on how long Isiah's here.

Actually, I see him exercising his opt out in 09/10. He'll be about 27, 28, just entering his true prime. I can really envision him being at least a 25/9/1.5 guy in that year.

Business sense dictates he is worth more than his present contract now to some teams.

He is proving he can play big minutes (36 per game), so that is a major obstacle out of the way regarding his stamina. I seriously believe that he would be a 17- 20 mil player if his defense(blocks included) came around and he keeps averaging around 8-9 rebounds-consistently-per game.

If he won't be coddled , he will opt out as soon as possible ask coach stiles.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
