Now let's see if these players reward his faith in them by raising the level of their play... Marbury, Francis & Q Rich are slowed by injuries, but this team proved they can play strong w/a shortened rotation this year... time for guys like Jamal, Channing, Nate, Balkman & Jefferies to raise the level of their play & take on that challenge... the next several games are very winnable... they laid a big fat rotten egg last night & are getting lambasted deservedly for it today... are they going to respond like they did after they got lambasted after the brawl? will they string together 4-5 W's in a row now like they did then?
what do u guys think?

i don't buy that completely... Dolan said Isiah was free to make a deal if there was one he thought would help the team (according to Isiah that is)... buying out the expirings handcuffed him in making another 1 of those Steve Francis type trades, but i don't think Dolan would have vetoed any trades of Frye or Nate if Isiah had 1 on the table that he wanted to pursue.

how do i know that either happened? those Vince Carter rumors might have some semblence of truth to them, but there's no way i think Isiah OFFERED D Lee in those talks... that's just retarded thinking... there isn't a GM in the NBA that would have given up a player like D Lee for a 2 month rental of Vince Carter.

Well, looks like we'll be somewhere in the 80s next season, in terms of the salary cap. Whoopdy doo.
At least, it is going down. If only IT had resigned Woods or Barnes for $1-$2 mill a year instead of locking us up with Jefferies at $6 mill per for the next 4 years. Barnes would have been playing much better than Jeffries.
Trust the Process

You know full well Zeke would have jumped at signing a no-name to a five year, 80 million dollar contract. Dolan said no way Jose!
I agree. Rose and Taylor were waived for one reason: so Isiah wouldn't be able to make a "blockbuster" trade at the deadline again. Dolan closed the purse strings to that option. The only option left would've been a trade to reduce salary. Since Isiah's never been interested in reducing team salary, he stood pat instead.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

seriously... who wouldn't want Q Woods over what Jefferies has given this team this year? he's an absolute non factor on both ends of the floor... that's pretty hard to do if you're good enough to be in the NBA, isn't it?

the only way the knicks will play any better than they have is if Isiah stumbles upon a successful combination of players often. which isnt likely to happen.
