Can someone please post the REAL draft pick situation for the next 4 years?

I would like to know what picks we have exactly moving forward so that I can start screaming for the Knicks to buy out everyone and rebuild thru the draft next year

I think this is everything....

Chicago has the right to swap first round picks in 2007 with New York Knicks (Eddy Curry trade).

Utah receives a future New York first-round pick (lottery protected through 2010) (Tom Gugliotta trade) via Phoenix (Marbury trade) Phoenix receives a 2005 New York Knicks first-round pick (lottery protected) (Marbury trade)

Philadelphia receives a second round pic from Chicago (Thabo Sefolosha trade 062806) via Chicago receives New York Knicks second round pick in 2007 (Eddy Curry trade)

Chicago receives New York Knicks second round picks in 2009 (Eddy Curry trade)

If we pick in the 20s--we should just pay up this year.

So we still owe a lottery pick, another first rounder (which could be a lottery pick eventually and will likely be top 20), and two second rounders. Um, fabulous?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Basically, it's like this: Chicago gets all of the Knicks lottery picks in perpetuity as part of the Curry deal.

Anyone still love that curry deal?

He is not making us a contender and we blew a chance to get two solid starters and add real depth, if he plays defense no complaints, but will he

This draft is too deep to bow out. I'd wait till next yr perhaps.

so wait basically we owe Chicago the right to swap this year and we have to give our first round pick to Utah sometime before 2010?

If the Knicks don't give up a top five pick this year, I like the trade, but it was reckless.

Historically, many great two way players worth building around have come after pick #5 but before pick #20 (my estimate of the Bulls' pick we'll get). Wouldn't it be nice to have more than a 0% at getting a 2 way player worth building around?

Yes- but next year we're probably back in the lottery- so the utah owed pick hangs over our head until there is no protection and we might be lotto that year as well....

I kinda agree with briggs- if there is a way to hand over the Chicago pick to satisfy the deal, do it.

I think we owe a Knicks 1st round pick, without the option to give them some other teams pick.
