I just don't understand. The Knicks have Houston, Spree, Shandon, and most likely Postell on the roster....now pick up Scott Burrell. How many swing men does one team need? You think after their only legitimate center retires they would pick up a big man...any big man. Felton Spencer maybe, but no. Previously a Layden supporter, I am now starting to question his wisdom.

I don't know if I'd call him an idiot. The debate over certain moves made while Layden has been the GM will never end, but I always wonder how many of the personel descisons were made by Checkettes while he was here. I agree with the post-Checkettes decisions to bring on Shandon and Eisley. I guess the outcome of the Spoon and Burrell signings will be known partway into the season.

You know this means Postell's days are numbered. Also, Brunson left so maybe new york will still go after Omar Cook. How bout Postell for Cook?

Don't know if you guys saw the posts in the NBA forum about Denver trading for Kenny Satterfield. Cook is definatley on his way out of Denver.
