wtf!! This team needs to start bringing the effort every night. They really need to stop with the letdowns.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Isiah needs to make adjustments in the first game of the back-to-back, so his players are still fresh for the second game of the back-to-back. It's probably not a stamina thing, but more a motivation thing, but maybe playing a bigger rotation on the first game keeps them motivated play during the second game.

Then again, once we win a game, we don't show up the next.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Seeing as how they've only won 3 games in a row and only rarely 2 games in a row, this shouldn't surprise anyone. It's not the back to back situation it's just them period. This team doesn't perform at it's best game after game. They don't get consistent performance from most of the guys, except for Curry, which is funny that he'd be the consistent one. This means that we really don't know from game to game what we're gonna get from each player.

Steph is starttng to be consistent on the defensive end, but the whole team is still very up and down. This is why Isiah needs to shorten the rotation and include effort guys like Balkman, who bring defense every night. He has an effect on the rest of the team when he hustles. I'd even throw Collins in there too, cuz I feel he's a much more committed defender and a stable ball handler, even if he's not fancy.

What's the NBA overall record on Back to backs (not sure if that's readily available)? Knicks are really bad on back to backs by any measure, but its nice to put it in more context cause you'd expect most of the league to have a a mediocre record on back to backs.

this has a lot to do with Marbury's knees. and probably something to do with Curry's belly.

Also jamal tends to play up and down. Of mostly down and then up sometimes. Then you've got Q who has been hurt and not quite the same since. Frye is in and out of it. There's just no real consistent output from game to game. MOSTLY it's on the defensive end, but these are offensive players and when they aren't hitting, they tend not to play as hard on D. For them it's offense 1st and then D. That's just the reality of the make up of our team. If they are hitting shots they play harder on the defensive end. RARELY does this team defend well and then get their offense in gear.

Context?? On THIS board where any strand of damning evidence is held up to the loudspeaker? Good luck.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
