A Rose in Cleveland?
Monday, Feb 19, 2007 10:17 am EST

New York Knicks' forward Malik Rose is a veteran who could lend something to a team bound for the playoffs.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a possible landing spot because of Rose's relationship with Cavs' GM Danny Ferry, coach Mike Brown and assistant coach Hank Egan. Rose worked with the trio as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.

Any young decent players we could get for him? Hell, I'd take just an expiring deal to get rid of him and his contract.

I read the article, it probably has no foundation. In any event, I know you know a Rose for Gooden trade is not happening. I think a Pollard and Ira Newble for Rose trade works under the cap. Pollard is expiring and Newble expires next year. However, I question why Clevland would want to make that trade, when they already have two solid PFs and Marshall, who can play at the PF spot.

The fans in Cleveland don't sound too high on Marshall. I was thinking Ira Newble/Pollard as well. Eric Snow for Malik would also work.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I was only half kidding, actually. Cleveland is down on Gooden. My guess is that either Frye or Nate would be involved in a Gooden/Malik deal.

Remember that game against clevland when lebron had hands on Nates shoulders talking to him, kinda like he was scolding him. It was like a big brother type convo. Kinda weird a little.

Anyway with that said I think Nate would florish playing with lebron. In fact if they asked lebron what he thought he probably would endorse it.

Anyway, the knicks need pavlovic in any clevland trade.
