Man, I got on expecting to atleast see a thread about the true highlight of tonight.
I was dying early on with the Rocky theme to Charles "Krispy Kreme" Barkley vs. Dick "the Ageless One" Bavetta.

Sir Charles surprised me and actually won! I didn't expect it to be close, Dicky B by half a court.
Barkley crosses the finish backwards as Bavetta dives for it.
Can we expect Barkley vs. Bavetta II?

DB busted his knee open. The dude was serious and really wanted to win, he looked crushed that he lost and pitied his old age. Good race though.

I didnt think CB was going to make there for a few seconds after the race. The ref was way to serious--i mean he was acting like he had marvin hagler waiting for him--and then goosed down blaming age. Shows the younger people here how fast your body can turn on you. I remember CB in the finals for Pheonix not long ago--going like 45 minutes a game--10 years later he was out of breath going up and down the floor once.

Its all a bore. The dunk contest is getting old and the rest of it is hype.

The Knarls-Knick Bavetta thing was kinda sad.

I don't watch all star games, they suck.

I saw that blood starting to drip down Bavetta's knee as well from where he smashed it into the court. I hope his knees don't swell up so bad that he has to miss some time.

When I saw this scene , first thing came to my mind is the superbowl scene with two guys eating both ends of a candy bar until they kissed.

Mr bavetta what happen to the kiss on the cheek ?

disensitizing americans by the minute

That race had me in stitches when Barkley fell and bavetta thought he was participating on a "FEAR FACTOR" competition by diving for the finish line. LOL

Bavetta could have broken a knee cap, and Charles almost cracked his head open! That was almost a complete disaster.

thank u for postin that.

HILARIOUS.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I gained alot of respect for barkley. the race was supposed to be a 3 and a half times the court not two and a half. Bavetta was losing and slipped and then barkley saw that and decided to fall down to save bavetta some embarassment.

very classy move charles

See - things like this are why I think the NBA should put out a Best Of Inside the NBA DVD or something.
