and bench Jerome James! What are you crazy? JJ is averaging 2.4 and 1.6 - we can't afford to lose that.

i had no idea they played today- looks like he simply had a huge game.

if he could develop a 3pt shot, he would just about turn into a larry bird type player- he already has a nose for the ball and eyes in the back of his head.

I am happy for him. I am sure there hasn't ever been someone with 100% fg percentage (7 or more attempts) in an all-star type game.

So I guess Lee might be even better than we had thought, huh? He might even be good enough to start in the NBA!

It's just a shame that he plays for such a great team that he just can't crack the starting lineup.

Here's hoping that at the first practice after the break, Isiah gets pummeled with questions about why the hell Lee is still not starting, and Isiah gets so frustarted and angry with the barrage that he punches a reporter and gets fired.

Ah, wishful thinking...

I don't even care if Curry becomes well rounded.

Just start blocking or rebounding.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Lee was awesome tonight, sadly enough I saw the game.. it was a terrible game, no defense whatsoever, but thats not surprise. Either way, Lee was just everywhere and he was dunking everything. They were talking to Deron Williams on the sideline and he was saying "we know if we get it to him, he's going to score becuase we know he'll dunk it home."

Killa was right! David Lee is the goldenchild!

I'm not even kidding, Lee is the man, he makes it still feel good to be a Knick fan, even with the mess Isiah has put us in.

I have this very very faint feeling Lee could become a NASTy player in the years to come.

I love David Lee! He's become everyone's popular knicks player but he cannot start. Lee is somewhat of a tweener. 3 or a 4.. Problem is he's to weak to defend most 4's.

Many times he's been either pushed around or bullied by the opposing Power forward.. Lee is also to slow to guard most small forwards.

Lee needs to develop a nice jump shot where he can develop a nice offensive game and put pressure on the opposing defender.

We've all witnessed games where Lee is having trouble defending power forwards such as A. Jamison, Elton Brand, Bosh or even Omeka O.

Eventually Lee will be find once he develops a nice offensive package other than rebounding the bal

He will be our starting 4 next yr..

IT has to play him 35 or more per game now. The fact that he is not starting is no biggie, but come on, the man needs to play ALL THE TIME!!!

Lee was awesome, he did nothing different than we have seen all year round. He played defense husteld around the ball, ran the floor, and cleaned up the boards. His points were all dunks most uncontested, definately good to hear people talk good about NY on a national level. Hopefully, Nate can do well tonight within 3 dunks or less.

Last night was a great night for Lee, but I didn't get the impression that it was that strong a game for David.
The dude is an excellent finisher, why we don't run more back door plays for him - I don't know, - but last night, most of Lee's points just seemed to be the result of good guard play. Deron and CP3 made a good effort to get it to him (when Ellis wasn't in).
Most of the rebounds just seemed to come to him as well.
I'm not trying to knock Lee, I was cheering for him hard all night. Just to truly appreciate his game, you have to see him fight for and grab rebounds he has no business getting. You have to see him clean up the offensive glass and put it back like nothing.
Maybe D Lee just made it look too easy last night.

Either way, I still need to get my #42 jersey.
Congrats to Lee. That award was not just for last night, but for an entire season of hustling his ass off.
