The person that needs to be traded is Houston, not Spree. But unfortunatly Spree may get traded because he is not a so called "company guy" like Houston.

Houston's ridulous contract makes him very difficult to trade but a team like Utah (Layden's buddy) needs a shooting guard like Houston who may help Stockon & Malone make their final playoff run. I would love to get a guy like Kirelenko, but Utah would be crazy to trade him. I would even be willing to take back a stiff like Ostertag if it would sell the trade.

Kurt Thomas needs to moved as well, maybe to the Rockets who is also making a playoff push. Possibly try to pry young Eddie Griffith.

Anyway Spree needs to stay and move back to SG. As a matter of fact he should be captain of the knicks because of his passion for the game.

I still dont see Layden making any moves. His hands are tied, and he wont make a trade just to make one, he wants to improve the team and I dont see anything out there right now that will.
