Is this team enjoyable to watch?

My personal opinion is that the only more unwatchable Knicks team we've had in the last six years was the season when Lenny was coaching when we had Nazr (and then Malik/Mo), Kurt, TT, Craw and Marbury as our starting five. That team, btw, started the season off 16-13... up until Craw got injured. Even mediocre teams can play decent for a while.
5/5 Extremely Enjoyable (Moreso than the previous six years)
4/5 Enjoyable (Most enjoyable team under Isiah)
3/5 Not bad (Better than last year)
2/5 Not that enjoyable (Would rather watch a good show like 24 than the Knicks)
1/5 Hard to watch (Would rather watch highlight tapes from previous teams than watch this one play)
0/5 Not enjoyable at all (Would rather watch daytime soaps than the Knicks)

Note that some of the descriptions in the poll are intentional exaggerations. ...Before I get nailed for amusing myself.

I'd say 3/5 because the team is enjoyable in about 3 out of 5 games while being awful in the other two.

these guys are the new cardiac kids...regardless the outcome of the game, the fans will have a heart attack.

One thing is for sure, I'm not a big fan of the west coast games.

but they have so much potential...you can fell it...it's like you are at home going (

"AWWWWW...don't dribble it off your leg"
or
"did he just try and force the same pass that was picked off before again?!?"

All the types of things that can be rectified.

They aren't getting out muscled, they are just making tons and tons of mistakes. (technicals, turnovers, etc.)

we rectify a little here and there and playoffs no worries.

but we keep tossing the ball away, catching the ball out of bounds, shot clock violations, offensive fouls, etc. and it's a long long game.

But they are smarter and better now than they were at the start of the season.

last season was a disaster, but it's the same team and the same players...only 3 things are different.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

It sounds like Solace isn't getting to watch most of the games.

3/5.....when they cut down on mistakes/bone-headed plays and make the offense a little less predictable, they'll be more enjoyable.

I'm not catching the majority. Some because I'm too busy, some because I haven't cared as much lately. I watched a lot of the games early in the season. Ultimately the team needs a few personnel changes to really get me behind it again. I don't know if I should feel guilty for disliking this team, but I don't like them. It is what it is, I guess. They have a way to go, and it's not just about W-L, before I can really feel attached to them again. I want some balance to the team, I want some character guys, some brains, some leadership, aside from this snake of a coach/GM. I have seen a lot of these guys play, even if I haven't caught most of the last 10, so I also know that these feel good stories of 1-2 great wins tend to be followed by 1-4 terrible losses that the tide changes very quickly.

if you're not watching the team, how could you possibly know whether it's enjoyable or not?

Clearly not what I said. To rephrase, I'm not catching every game... nor am I catching the majority... lately. I've still seen a lot of games this season.

Now I KNOW that some of you are LOST! As usual you guys exaggerate the truth in order to make your argument look better. This team is in MOST of the games they play, not 3/5.

What the heck have you been watching that you can't get behind this team and enjoy the games? This isn't some wornout old team with guys that have Zero potential or future in the NBA. This is a FAR cry from that Steph, JC, TT, KT and Nazr team. For one thing this team is DEEPER! You can't just compare the starting 5. The number of wins they had to start the year also doesn't matter. This is a much younger team and we have been trying to establish an identity and chemistry. Which I might add Isiah has successfully been doing.

Too many of you are looking for signs that this team is gonna win a Title soon. It's WAY too early to worry about that. Just freakin enjoy the games. We're in just about every game, so how can you be board. We're one of the top scoring teams so it can't be that. We're the top rebounding team as well, which shows how hard these players get after it.

Are you paid on a per-post basis from Isiah's payroll? Just curious.

I simply can't agree because I don't suffer from tunnel-vision. I'm sorry if that angers you.

Dude, if the Knicks hired this dude to post on this board -- that would be on par with the Jerome James signings. HAHA!!

I must say, as of late, I've been enjoying the team. They have definitely improved throughout the season. They are in the longest most watchable stretch of the Isiah regime. I'm somewhere between the haters and the homers on this now. I'm trying to enjoy the present, but I still have concerns for the future. I am certainly not as pissed as I was in the beginning of the season when we would spot every opponent 20 points.

24 rocks though. These Knicks aren't a 2/5 but I'd still take 24.

By a slim margin. I liked the prospects of Jackie Butler, Qyntel Woods, Penny Hardway and Trevor Ariza (before he was traded) better than what they were replaced with. Obviously the coaching was a fiasco, and the players weren't trying (very embarassing). I wasn't happy with last year's team either, but to be honest, considering Larry Brown was the only one in the organization with any credibility, I thought that he had the team's best interests at heart, and honestly, hope he would've won out in the battle against Isiah. It didn't work out that way, so that hope is gone.

Yes it does. That show does some ridiculous things, but I'm on the edge of my seat every episode.

"This is the big one Elizabeth!"

The Knicks almost as much fun than watching Sanford and Son back in the day

Next Question
