Back to backs are tough. Might be a little tired, but it's not a long trip from LA to GS so I expect them to be ready to go and expect nothing but a good effort.
Pietrus is a guy I've been after even since I first heard that Detroit was interested in him and may have offered Nazr Mohammed going back about a month and a halft to two months ago. Nazr Mohammed? I thought about Pietrus and his upside and knew right away we could come up with a better package than that to get him (They just lost Troy Murphy in their trade with Indy, they need a PF, and Frye's has much more upside than Nazr Mohammed, that's for sure). I've been saying it for a while, if Pietrus came here and got the same freedom as Isiah gives Crawford (say 35+ mins. & 15+ shot attempts a game), he easily goes for 20 a game. Plus, just a couple of things to consider, he's actually younger than Craw by about 2 years, is taller/stronger, and shoots it at a much higher clip. I floated this out there on the ESPN Golden State message board and have actually spark a little interest in this idea over there. Suprisingly, a lot of the GS fans there would do the deal, believe it or not. Some believe Pietrus to be a low IQ type more interested in making the highlight reel than making the right play. One dude actually referred to Pietrus as, "Balkman's older and far, far, far, far more mentally challenged brother." That says a lot I guess - they watch this guy day in and day out so they know better that us, but we also watch Frye and Craw play everyday too, you know what I mean. Go check this out guys. It's interesting to see a Warriors fans' take on this.

Not trying to blast Craw here btw. He played a great game against the Lakers. HE SCORED AT WILL AGAINST KOBE AT TIMES, AND DROVE THE BALL TO THE BASKET. When he plays like that, he's a keeper. When he strays away from that and starts jacking up those cross-over long pull ups, especially with time left on the clock, I want to choke the **** out of him. He might really be starting to turn the corner though. He played a very similar game in Utah up until the end (as far as being aggressive and going to the rim). So, if we could land Pietrus and still hang on to Craw, that wouldn't be such a bad thing either.
I was thinking a smaller deal built around Frye for Pietrus with little filler involved, but I'd pull the trigger on this deal. I like it Jrzy!
