Obviously the Pistons also have GREAT players everywhere else on the floor but...

My theory is that no team should be allowed to have success with Tim Thomas on their roster. I liked the Clips as a team until they signed Thomas. Blech.

If you look at today's box scores

Webber McDyess Nene and Camby..all looking solid

Limited sample size but it pains me that somehow none of these players are on our roster although I'll admit I wasn't too in love with the idea of CWebb on this team

or if we kept McDyess. my friend used to refer to him as McHurt. Shows that we're all dumb sometimes.

Somehow we parlayed Nene and Camby into...NOTHING. oh well. look forward. look forward. look forward.

Yup. Patience on a struggling team is non-existant.

from cnnsi.com- http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/ian_thomsen/02/08/weekly.quiz/3.html
7. Who are the league's worst defenders?

ANSWER: While sitting through a lousy NBA game recently, a couple of veteran scouts put together their Worst Defensive Team:

C -- Chris Webber, Pistons
F -- Vladimir Radmanovic, Lakers
F -- Jason Kapono, Heat
G -- Jason Williams, Heat
G -- Sebastian Telfair, Celtics

They must have been watching a bad game that night, because the scouts even had time to give a Sixth Man Bad Defense award. The unlucky recipient was the Magic's Hedo Turkoglu.

webber edged our own eddy curry for that C spot...

Too close to call.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I understand the thinking of most. I too would not mind Frye getting traded but only IF we get a part we need. Right now, I would like for us to stay put unless we get something that totally knocks us off our feet. I would like to be the seller in any trade. Only way we won't get fleeced again.

i've watched CWebb play on that team, & he really adds a nice dimension they never had before... he allows Chauncey & Rip to play off the ball because he's such a terrific passer, & alot of plays he'll post up down low & dump the ball into 1 of the G's cutting to the lane off his screen, resulting in a very easy made basket.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

If you don't have a set, it's very difficult for A player to play well consistently at MSG. The flaky harcore media, the rabid fan base sheesh !

Ewing LJ Houston Sprewell, weren't intimidated by the crowds and the lights , they actually relished it.

If I was a NBA player, I wouldn't want to play in NewYork unless there was a good foundation of vets who carried themselves in a professional manner.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
