if the NBA is going to make the requirement that salaries in trades have to match up, they should allow teams to pay portions of players' salaries in order to make the trades work.
In baseball, if you're trading a guy that's overpaid, the team just throws in cash. Why isn't this the case in the NBA? Q,Jeff', Francis, and James are good players, but they aren't tradeable at their current salaries. There's players like that on every team. It just doesn't make sense to me that they are locked onto teams in the current system.
