You guys know him? Texas A & M, PG. He had 21 pts and 15 assists versus Texas last night (Durant...who I LOVE).

Birthday:1/25/1985
NBA Postion:Point Guard
Class:Senior
Ht:6-3
Wt:195
College Team:Texas A&M

16.9 ppg/5.5 apg (51.5% FG/44.8% 3FG)
Big time competitor who wants the ball in crunchtime … Has become a great team leader who has learned how to lead by example … Rare point guard who can operate equally well in a half court set or up tempo offense … Defensively Law shows good lateral quickness and reflexes to play passing lanes … Decent court vision, capable of driving and dishing in traffic … Great ball handler who uses his shifty quickness to get past most opposing defenders … Once in the lane, Law effectively uses his body control and ability to finish with both hands … Fundamentally sound player who plays the game with good poise and patience, rarely does Law force the action … Has the ability to hit the pull up J from mid-range off the dribble … Creative slasher who understands how to use the glass or floaters in the lane … Has improved greatly from behind the three point line where he can now convert with regularity … Unselfish player who will often look to get teammates involved first before attempting to shoot the ball … Possesses a great basketball IQ. Law plays the game very efficient and intelligently … Pushes the ball aggressively and effectively up the court …

Draft him...future PG of this team. And better than last year's Nets pick. We may be able to get him with Chi's pick in the 20's.

Wouldn't mind drafting him, I've watched him a bunch of times. He has taken that program to new heights and I think he's probably better than Marcus Williams. He's a hardworker, a skilled player and a court-general. Would love to get him, although I believe you wont have a chance to draft him in the 20's. He'll be in the 12.

Not to get off topic, but Durant might be the best player in that draft.

Does it matter? You can't rely on anything these kids say until the deadline, which is fine, btw.

Durant is a hell of a player, but I still think Oden is still the best player in this draft. I'm not trying to minimize what Durant has done at all but he's taking double the shots that Oden is taking so far this year
Oden - 8.9shots a game
Durant - 18shots a game

I think if Oden was taking 9 more shots a game, he'd be averaging over 20pts a game(Oden shoots 63% from the field)

Oden plays on a team with with the best recruiting class in the country from this past offseason, so he plays with much more talent. Also the wrist injury has slowed Oden a bit. Durant is simply nasty and he has made the decision for #1pick a bit of a hard decision but I still think Oden is the better player.

I never saw Acie play but will look out for him as March madness approaches.

Durant is the man. If the knicks had a chance to get him with the pick the Bulls swap then I will be mad as all hell.

Greg Oden is the closest thing I've seen to David Robinson. I think Durant is awesome, but wing players naturally get to look more flashy in college. I'd still stake my dollars on Oden if I had no.1.

exactly as regards wings vs. centers- no one thought Ewing would have an offensive game in the pros

is he the future pg? or should we be looking at the best jumpshooter? or best two-way guard regardless of position? or defensive minded big man?

I dunno about Law. Right now I'd be looking at Morris Almond or maybe someone like Darrell Arthur, who looks like a mini-Tyrus Thomas.

he's better than the next Magic/Kidd clone? i guess that makes him the next Oscar Robertson clone... awesome.

agreed 100%... i can see Oden growing to become the next David Robinson easy... don't think i can say the same for the "next Kevin Garnett" though... i think Durant will be a nice player, maybe Allstar calibre in a couple years, but not a franchise calibre player... his physical traits don't set him apart from most of the other PF's in the game the way Oden's does in respect to NBA centers... just MHO.
