Just wanted to take a time out and make an important observation here. How many of you feel that we are going into the right direction, despite the course of action that has been taken, the things that have been done to at least turn this team into a direction we can grow on?

I feel that we are going into the right direction, for the most part. We have gotten younger. We have found some pieces that are working. We have created a more cohesive team chemistry and I feel that it is reflective of our record. There have been no signs of big losing streaks like last season, and no in-fighting. We have nearly won as many games in this half of season, compared to an entire season last year. Regardless of how we are doing it, I feel that we have made huge improvements on this team.

Any dissagreements we have with trades, drafts, individual views on players performances during the course of the season, is all trivial. It's the record and the position and more importantly the attitude we carry on as we grow that will define who we will be in the near future.

Not sure how else to say it, but there you have it.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I don't feel much better about our overall course than I have over the past five seasons (overall) because I don't think our overall course has changed much. I think our overall course is still determined by James Dolan, who is an overall idiot, no matter who the GM is.

In absolute terms, it sucks.

In relative terms (i.e., compared to the Layden era, and given the Dolan rules), it doesn't suck.

I feel good about our course. I look at talent and youth Pre-Isiah vs. Present-Isiah. In my opinion its no contest. We started with Spoon, Rice, Milos, Ward, Lampe, Eisley, Sweets, Anderson, KT, Deke and Moochie and just about all were atleast 35yrs old !!! lol.... Well, Zeke transfered it into CURRY, FRYE, LEE, JJ, Q, CRAW, NATE, COLLINS, BALKMAN which represents our youth and future with a small mix of vets like Marbs, Malike, Kato and Snacks !!! I don't know about you guys, but i think that is a huge improvement. Please don't bring up money, i don't care about money. Cap space means nothing !! It took the Bulls almost a decade worth of picks to get to the playoffs !!!
GOD arose JESUS from the grave !!! Isiah arose the Knicks from their grave !!!

If I answer this questions then I face harsh criticism, because of my opinion, and I'm tired of being labeled as a hater and a non-knick fan.

I think it's fan-fricken-tastic.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

This is a tough one man. I think its hard to say the overall course is satisfactory. If you think about baby steps, this team looks like its improving. If you are thinking championship, blow it up and start from scratch every single year until you find your own Lebron.

Never be afraid to speak your mind. You are your own worst enemy, by letting the assumption of others get the best of you! Break out of that mode dude. Play' with peoples criticism's! I do it all the time and I'm better for it, whether they talk to me or not. I think you'll eventually earn more respect.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Okay guys. Try this one. What if let's say...............Zeke is no longer coach or GM? How do you think you'd feel about it then? Or what if the un-imaginable happened? What if Dolan sold the team? How would you feel then?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Lol, thanks for the kinds words, but my post was dripping with sarcasm, I should have added a smiley to it. I think every person on this site, knows my opinion. Just didn't see a reason to rehash it for the 10000th time.

I think Isiah summed it up with clarity, “You get to the point where you’ve come from the bottom to the average part,” Isiah Thomas said. “And the average part is one game up, one game down. Now we’ve got to get to the point where we’re playing a little bit above average.”

The overall course will be bumpy until the yoots gain some measure of additional confidence and trust in each other.

I'll watch

The problem is that it will be hard to get to the next level without a high draft choice or cap room as a result of Isiah's inefficient management.

I swear Holfresh, I THINK you're kidding, but I'm not sure and I honestly hope you don't think of me that way. I can never tell.

I often wonder what he would have done differently, if he knew then, what he knows now. The Brown deal killed him. It was like mixing bleach with clorine.

I got to say one thing though. Some of his moves did not turn out as he had expected them to, but despite, he has really tried, much, much more so than Layden ever dared to. If Zeke turns out to be a failure in NY and is let go, not one person can say he didn't try. I guess that's what I admire about him, if no one minds.

I think the following lines sum it up:

Isiah's a man whose carrying out a plan,
as hopeless a fish trying to swim on dry land,
nobody else would ever build a team this way,
unless they're trying to get fired the very next day

Although Isiah assembled a terrible roster and appears to be building towards mediocrity, I do have to give him some credit. I think Isiah would have great success GMing on the Playstation. He should stick with that.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Most people agree that we need a superstar if we are to have any thought of winning an NBA Championship.

I'm happy with some of the progress being made- my concern is that the folks in charge (Isiah/Dolan/Mills) don't appear to have a plan that will get us that superstar talent. Don't tell me Eddie Curry is that superstar.

We're kinda sliding sideways like a car on an icy road- yes, we're moving forward, but we ain't facing the right direction and I see us sliding off the road down the line.
