10/5 at 6'11? With no defense, hustle, passing or any other intangible skill?

Channing gets the gas face.

Why does he feel he earned the starting spot? Ok last year he did buy this year he has done nothing to secure it. 18/7 should be closer to his season average. Channing has not been playing well at all this year. He might have a break out game in one catagory buy on the season as a whole he has done nothing.

He rubs me the wrong way with this "I earned that spot" bull****. You know David Lee feels he should start buy you never hear him say hes "earned that spot." Jerome James came to Ny to be the starter but he has quietly kept eating his whoopers to let curry do his thing.

Channing is a big reason the knicks aren't in the playoff hunt. If he earned his spot thenthe knicks would be leading the Atlantic.

Gosh I wish we could trade Frye!

I guess that's why Lee is in the rookie/soph game and he's not.

obviously a dumb statement on his part considering he never gets double figure rebounds and rarely has a nice shooting game, however the blame needs to be placed on isiah for not helping to define his role and play to his strengths and develop frye.....

isiah is a snake and the entire year has been about one thing, making eddy look good to justify the deal. Channing has suffered and been under utlized, by the poor coaching decisions of Isiah, who dare I say it has been very close to as bad as our last coach. I think it was criminal what Larry did, but Isiah is tinkering with the lineups and shows zero consitency. I think Larry would have won 30 games by default with a more inshape curry and a mentally healthy q rich, not to mention an improved rookie class.

I'm with you on this one, Eny. Statements like "I earned that spot", from a 10/5 player, is a key reason why we're not a good team.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Jerome James is the best defensive big man in the league. Isiah said so.

I heard a rumor that one of the assistants told Isiah that Jerome had been eating up Frye in practice, but he had really just been eating fries during practice. Isiah was too embarrassed to admit to the error so they just kept the lineup that way.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Actually, when you compare Frye to James, I can understand how he would be upset. Wouldn't you be upset if JJ beat you out for a starting spot.

Frye should be more worried about Lee. IT has pretty much said Frye is going to the bench to provide offense to the second unit. The JJ1 starting experiment cannot possibly work for more than a few games, so it might be Lee starting in the near future.

I had given up dreams of the NBA back when i was a kid. But now that JJ is starting I'm as pissed off as Channing that I'm not starting.
I just hope that people will like me

Your comments made me mad then agree at the same time. Stop playing with my emotions, lol.

Well curry is an offensive bulldog this year. Isiah can only go with what works. Yeah he tried to run it through curry and curry has responded by destroying everyone. What has frye done? If isiah went to frye would the argument be isiah is trying to validate him drafting frye over lee?

Frye doesn't need isiah to develop. Who developed Lee? Does frye want to get a spot? He should have a turn around jumper, a drop step, a spin move and an acoss the lane move, not to mention a floor game. He has none so he should burn.

David Lee and Balkman are two guys that make things happen with their activity channing frye is not, eddy curry is not. If we didn't make eddy the focal point its concievable he would be averaging 14pts and 5rbs.

Isiah has failed to see what everyone (or most of us) realized from the beginning Frye is only effective if he gets wide open jumpers or is posting up close to the basket. He has been uncomfortable all season. He would have been more effective with more touches with the second unit. Which I would love to see Crawford, Nate, Balkman, Jefferies, Frye. That give yous everything you need. Play uptempo and with high energy.

In 24 games back since his injury Frye has shot 50% or better 12 games.

Since his 8 game slump to start the season he has averaged 48% FPG.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
