Eddy Curry, Channing Frye and Nate Robinson

for

Pau Gasol

If Gasol is really available, I think this package is good enough to get him. I'd want to make this deal because I think Gasol and David Lee would mesh perfectly together.

I'm not sure if Memphis would do it, but they got a young replacement for Gasol in Curry, an athletic freak in Robinson to play with Gay and Warrick and Frye is a valuable trade chip (although his stock is in a free fall).

He wants out of Memphis, but to play for a contender. While I don't think we realistically have a chance, getting him could be the god damn guy we need to play defense down low. I would trade Frye, Crawford, and some picks for Gasol. Imagine Gasol down low next to Curry with Lee rotating in. And Marbury at the 1 and Q at the 2? Suddenly we have some defense and turn into a contender, at least in the East.

I agree completely... I just really think the Knicks would have to give up Curry for a trade to happen. The Logo is going to demand the Knicks most valuable asset in exchange for Gasol. I would be willing to include Curry to get a 20/10/5 player, which is what he averages when healthy.

Why do you wanna trade Curry for him, and throw in Frye? your overpaying. I Would give them Frye, Nate, and a choice of our overpaid guys... Francis, Jared, Rose, Crawford (though I would hate to lose him AND Nate, one of them we should keep)....

I wouldn't want to see my two favorite teams make a trade with each other. I just couldn't see Frye as a Grizzlie and Pau as a Knicks, it would be kind of weird,and The Knicks need to keep Curry.
