raptors have a VERY difficult february vs. many playoff teams from last year. i think they would be lucky to walk away 6-5 this month.

nets have a realtively "easier" schedule with the toughest games against tor, nyk, and was. but they already lost to orlando last night.

we have a tough month with 7 road games including a west coast trip. schedule gets "somewhat" easier after the break with a huge back to back versus nj and mia.

Knicks and Raptors both have very tough schedules, but those road games are gonna be a killer for us, and for whatever reason, no matter how crappy a team they are, Boston always seems to beat us up.

Raptors are a very good team. Before the season started, I said they'd win 42 and I still think they will.

I don't watch the Raps a lot but from what I have seen, I like him a lot. He's very quick and a fairly good decision-maker. Ford + Bosh + Bargani + Cap room + Colangelo = a dream scenario.

i watch the raptors...a lot. they are my adopted red-headed stepchild bastard of a bball team for the past 3 years. tj ford is good but he has to make some tweaks in his game. he can penetrate and kick at will. but he keeps taking these ball pull up jumpers or ill advised shots from time to time. and that hurts b/c he's not a good shooter. so he either needs to pick his spots or he needs to become a better shooter. but here's the great thing about toronto...they have jose calderon who, i think, can start for alot of teams around the league. he's 26 and was the starting pg of the world champion spanish team. he actually runs the team a little bit better than ford. and he was signed by babdick the year before so credit goes to him.

colangelo did an interesting thing of putting together an international team (for an internation city) that have their fundamentals down and are team oriented. nobody's selfish and everybody passes the ball and when you watch them, there REALLY DO play like a team. it's actually pretty fun to watch. now, they are close to the cap for the next 2 years (after this one) but what colangelo is trying to do is win somewhat now while tj + bosh + bargnani nucleus develops. then in 3 summers, they will have some cap room to make necessary moves to put them over the hump. he didn't sign or trade for deals that extend past 2009 outside of the bosh extension and the 3 year tj ford extension.

My head sees the knicks going 4-7 in Feb. That would sick big time.

My heart pumping that orange and blue says 6-4.

Even if the knicks go 6-4, the nets should still be like 1 have ahead, while I think Toronto is the team that actually pulls away with the lead with 4 games over .500.

Knicks got their work cut out for them. Hope they can scrap it out and then upset someone in the "p-word".
