This would be a trade that I'd love to do, just not sure the Sonics would do it because we are getting back great talent.

Allen would fit in perfectly with Marbury & Curry. Wilcox would provide the interior D that we've been lacking all season.

If the Knicks are to salvage their season and prevent Chicago from getting a high lottery pick, this is the type of trade that needs to happen. I like Crawford & Frye but I have no problem giving them up for the players we could be potentially getting in return.

Knick Line-up:

Pg: Marbury, Collins
Sg: Allen, Francis
Sf: Q-Rich,Balkman
Pf: Wilcox,Lee
C: Curry

if you took Wilcox out of that deal you'd have a better shot at interesting SEA... maybe include Damien Wilkens instead as a filler body?

Would you do this deal if the heat throw in their pick this year? I'll admit its a little risky if there is a chance it helps keep wade in Miami, but we need to start getting rid of these long term deals and opening up room

you might have to throw in the pick from CHI too... still not sure it would get it done, but it's not out of the question if they're desperate to unload Ray's horrendous contract... but why do we want to take on that contract again? i thought the goal was to get UNDER the salary cap sometime before we die?

Craw, Nate, frye and rose is a really talented packedge. That group could tempt a lot of clubs. Seattle would probably jump at it. Damien Wilkins is a talent the knicks could use as well.
