Well, they did better than I thought they would but still it's another losing month. We need some wins and this looks like the month to do it.

i had them at 6-9 for january. so far, i'm only -1 on the season. i had them at 19-29.

I had them pretty much the same DJ. I actually had them right where they are at given the pace(33win projection). I'd actually had them winning more games on the back end(April).

Seriously I think that all teams will start playing the best ball as playoffs approaching.
So February will be the moment of truth for this team and Isiah.
It is also interesting to see how IT will do his job when it will be clear that playoffs are just a crazy dream for this team. Will he have enough pride to resign? Will agonize farther? Interesting...

Isiah can't say any speech to save his job at this point.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Playoffs are probably not a prerequisite for Isiah to keep his job. As long as we stay within 2-3 games of 8th (or 4th), even if we only win 38 games, i think he is brought back for another year.

I see us finishing 9th, with 38 wins. 11th pick in the lottery.
