why do some players have a short leash?

crawford can take a ton of bad shots.
curry can commit TO after TO.

yet frye or jeffries makes a mistake, and they get benched.

why?

If Frye isnt hitting his jumper he is bringing nothing to the team. He doest guard, or rebound, and JJ shouldnt be on a leash he should be in a nice suit.

Absolutley the case, Crawford has been a turnover bad shooting machine in half the games, takes the offense one on one and not once have i ever scene him be removed from a game.....

He is the worst defender on the team and no player costs us more points, but yet he never is taken out, never, haven't scene it once....

Ditto for Curry just substitute "jumper" for "providing post scoring".

I agree with Curry and when he doesnt score he takes stupid fouls and has to go to the bench. The bottom line is Curry has been very good offensively this year. I agree on Crawford I have no idea why he is in the games sometimes. Guess the same reason we signed both JJ for 30 million a piece

wait a minute, some say he sticks with jeffries too justify some fantasy of proving he didn't make a mistake.

Crawford 0 - 4 to start, 52 points. nuff said.

Some players are streaky and deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt (crawford has had a ton of 20 point fourth quarters).

I thought you guys would be happy about the size of Jeffries and frye's leashes.

Oh well, another knee jerk post...I think I've explained it.

Some players are definitely Role players. Currently frye, jeffries, balkman, etc. are role players.

But the players you are looking to ride to the contention, they get to "work it out".

Frye’s mistakes are often two quick fouls - a very benchable mistake. The Young-in’s got a bit to learn about getting roughed up and subtly giving it back...

Lee should not be of this team.
Because of hin we will be better that 23-59 and IT will stay for another season...

Last night's game sort of puts an end to this thread. Both Frye and JJ had ample playing time, both stepped up a couple of notches, even in "cruntch time." Was good to see, (except why Rose and not Balkman....????)
