hmmm... last year in a desperation move we trade for steve francis even though *everyone* knows it's a terrible idea.

this year in a desperation move we bring him back to the fold even though i for one am pretty sure it's still a horrible idea.

were the rumours that Denver was interested in Francis pure smoke?

I seriously felt we could get him, rehab his image- and trade him- I think I was wrong.

Let him play as a reserve. Crawford must start.

I'd agree that I would prefer Francis as the third guard- assuming Q is in as SF.

If he's used properly (imagine that!), this is actually good news.

crawford sucks anyone who says otherwise hasn't been watching him get abused by every and i mean every guard in the league on defense. I will take francis in nates role for 20 minutes a night splitting time at the guard spot he is not a good mix with marbury.

Perhaps Isiah realizes how to coach and uses francis to get frye involved with the second unit

Right - if he comfortable off the bench, I much rather see him than N8. Crawford needs some D is correct as well, (imho of coarse)

Depends what's wrong with Stevie's knee. I don't remember any injuries, this is a tendonitis and or cartilage thingy, right?

I don't know, guess I'm still jaded after H2o, but hearing the swelling is down isn't all that encouraging to me. Being able to walk without pain is nothing. Allan was always feeling better than he had in years, but as soon as he'd start playing NBA level ball it fell apart quick.

Sure, bring him into camp, give him a shot, but I recall games he couldn't jump, his shot had no arc, he had no lateral speed, etc. I just don't expect this to amount to much.

Sent to be with Lucas who is known as the "betty ford" for NBA players.

Given the Knick propaganda machine it would not surprise me if this guy had a coke problem, weed problem, had a vagina installed, was depressed, got some VD, had mono, or just plan old was hurt.

Or, he was sent to some Mao Red Chinese work camp to be "re-educated" according to party standards.
