12 reb for Curry, the span of 4gms. ASSTOUNDING!

Tonight against the Bucks, Perinnial All-Star Brian Skinner in 33min of play grabbed 14reb.

Anyone see what I'm getting at?

I want Curry off this team.

If Curry could keep this rate up for a season, he'd go down as the worst rebounding center in NBA history.

Seriously, he's so one-dimensional, it's ridiculous. I'd be perfectly fine with him putting up 12 ppg if he was better in the other areas of his game.

He's the kind of guy who kills you in so many stats that he's undraftable in fantasy basketball. He really needs to balance out and when you see him play like this it's hard to not be worried for the franchise.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

you can take curry scoring 20 ppg and shooting 60% from the field but damn it man, you have to get a real stud defensive PF next to him to make up for his total lack of presence on the defensive end.

Think about what you are saying DJ. Because he sucks so bad in those other areas the team has to sacrifice potentially one or more of it's assets(players) in a trade to achieve this. Or they have to use more of their financial resources to achieve this. Or use their draft picks to achieve this. Instead if he just rounded out his game you could use those other resources for things like adding bench depth, gaining cap flexibility in trades, possibly acquiring draft picks. Or maintain and improve on existing assets(palyers). Your starting Franchise Center shouldn't cause you to jump through hoops because he suckks so bad in other areas. Generally you don't put Stud(power) players next to Stud(power) players. You put Role players next to a Stud(power) player. I mean do the Rockets tell themselves we need a beast of a rebounder to put next to Yao? Do the Magic tell themselves we need a stud Power Forward to put next to Dwight Howard?

hey, i would trade eddy but dealing with the realism of the situation, he's not going to get traded so we have to put the right pieces around him.

Then I guess this team isn't building toward a championship. They wouldn't even be building towards being a consistent Top 8 team in the conference IMO until they address this issue with Curry. You tell him start playing All-Star caliber defense or else you'll look to trade him.

So he played injury free on offense tonight but injured on defense? What about the 3gms prior to injury when he had a total of 8reb in 98min?

If you can take the court, I don't want to hear anything about injuries.

Not that I know but I don't want to hear people making excuses for him either. Thats all I'm saying.

Making excuses are as bad as someone saying: I want Curry off this team.

While I agree with you, one's an opinion and one's an excuse. I don't like excuses.

I look at it like this: Under Isiah/Aguirre or whomever, Curry has been transformed into one of the best low post centers in the NBA in less than a season.

He tuned 24 in December. The idea that he can't improve his defense and rebounding, and we should just "get him off the team," is absurd, imo.
