we play:
Bucks (W)
Lakers (L)
Bobcats (W)
Magic (L)
Clippers (W?)
Jazz (L?)
Lakers (W)
Warriors (W)

Knicks need to play hard and win atleast 4 out of the next 8 if they expect a playoff spot. They have to go into the all star break with some kinda momentum. Can we beat the Clippers or the Jazz to win 5 of the next 8? It's time the Knicks start winning more games than they lose.

The Raptors are starting to put some distance between themselves and the Knicks. I think the Raps will finish with at least 42 wins. The Knicks will need to win about 60% of their remaining games to finish at that level, which I don't see happening. I think Miami will finish strong with Shaq and Wade back and take the 8th seed (if not higher). I think the Knicks will finish 9th or 10th in the conference.

There is a 3 game difference between the Raptors and the Knicks. Are you rooting for the Knicks to make the playoffs?

raptors have a tough february into march coming up. that will be their make or break month. if they are still around .500 after february, they'll still be in the atlantic division hunt. raptors defense is very poor so they won't run off a bunch of wins, especially on the road. but they play like a team so they won't lose a bunch of games either.

knicks schedule after the all star break isn't as tough as heading into the all star reak so if a move in the standings are gonna happen, it's going to be after the break.

I always root for the team to win. I don't expect them to make the playoffs, though. There's a diffrence between what you're rooting for and what you're expecting. The Raptors have a better team and a better foundation. I want the Knicks to make the playoffs but it's a minor achievement when you're below .500 and you have a poor foundation.

actually, those are very winnable games. i think the hard part of their schedule has past. i will agree that this is a prime opportunity for the knicks to make a solid run and start an impressive winning streak.

I agree jazz. He need to put a winning streak together. They are winnable games and I was trying to be a realist. They have to win at least 4 games in this stretch. We can take the Lakers in both games. If we play consistent basketball, we can easily take 6 out of the 8.

The knicks have been in most games that they play. I think that since Jared is gonna get benched the knicks might start to get some consistancy.

Truth be told, which ever team has a 6 game streak will win the East. Why not our knicks?

I don't know about the Warriors game being a win. Both Jackson and Harrington like to go off on this team.

All 8 games are winnable, if the Knicks play hard, consistant, team oriented and as close to mistake free as can be played, they can win them all. Now being a realist, I only expect 4 and 4 but I really want 6 and 2.

I think 5 out of 8 is very possible. We should see Curry v. Bynum in the Lakers games, which will be interesting considering the past debates as to who we should have gotten as our future center. I was looking at the schedule and noticed that we play Toronto once and NJ twice in the final week of the season, so we may end up controlling our own destiny at the end.
