Last night during the game thread you were saying that Marbs and Steph tell Lee where to go. You are saying that Lee is lost or dumb and needs direction. The truth is if you watch the game JC and Steph who both love ball screens will signal which side they want Lee to screen. I know the signal but I wont tell you. Lee by far has the one of the highest IQ of any player on the team. He directs on defense a lot and he is pointing and telling men where to go on offense. Frye could set the same ball screen but that would involve contact and rolling into the paint. So if Lee is on the right side of the floor and Steph wants a screen on the left Lee has to adjust to get that done. Once you understand the dynamics of the Knicks offense then please for an opinion.

Lee's great, but he just doesn't know where to go or stand, so someone has to tell him. Even after the game, someone has to tell him where to go to get to his car or the bus.

Lee has a very high BBIQ, but no sense of direction at all.

https:// It's not so hard.

Listen, my goal was not to say Lee is a dumb player and I didn't do that...These are not dumb players on this team as many here like to point out...It's been the thing here in this forum to say Lee is a high IQ player while the rest of the team is dumb...Well If the rest of the team is dumb and Lee needs to be told where to be on many occasions, what does that make Lee...For example, a few games ago, I don't remember which game...Jamal call a play and Lee stood under the basket...Jamal had a frustrated look on his face and called Lee out to the foul line for which Lee obliged...He passed the ball to Lee then Lee lobbed it for the easy dunk to Eddy....Maybe I don't know the plays but it seem to me on that particular play the High IQ player wasn't on the same page as the rest of the team...So it's mind boggling to me to hear that Lee is the only player that plays with a high IQ...This line of though is generally excepted here...

dude, if you are gonna make an opinion, state it and back it up with examples, just like King did above. If you think someone else's post doesn't back up their opinion, either call them out on it or state your own with backup. That's how high IQ posters do it.

Well if you decided to read my post earlier you would have seen where I point a specific example where DLee was directed to a particular position on the court...King's example was more or less a generalization of his interpretation of what he thought was happening...You can do better siting some one else's post as an example of thought out opinions followed by examples....

Mart, these discussions get drawn out to something that it usually isn't intended...My original gripe was that one poster was saying that DLee is the only guy that has BB IQ out there and if there was a way for them to have some of the brain power that Lee has it would help....

I countered by saying that not all these guys are dumb and Lee also needs help finding his way on the court...Now it's morphed in Frye versus Lee argument thanks to Evil...Now you want me to explain to you the good things Fyre has done...

I think there a few guys on this team that understand the game. I think Steph, Quentin, Frye, and Malik have a good basketball IQ. All I am saying dont say he looks lost on offense when he has a good understanding of the game. Most of the time Jamal and Steph ask for the drag screen which means the role man to the basket would be open. Since it isnt the pick and pop that is why Lee runs it all the time.

Lee needs help playing defense he doenst need help finding his way on the court. He calls a lot of the plays and when teams play zone he is directing players where to go. Holfresh talk about him closing out on shooters, but dont talk about him not knowing the offenses.

No What I'm really saying is that DLee is far from the high IQ player you guys are making him out to be....
