Not sure how tonight's game will end, but I can already see the hot postgame topic:

Are we better off without Curry?

If you think Jamal's going to be as efficient as tonight on a consistant basis, sure. I, on the other hand, will take my chances with Curry and a post game.

I would also like to mention that Alonzo Mourning was not in the game tonight.

not saying the Knicks would have lost if it did, but maybe it wouldn't have been by so much

Let's not get crazy now. We can fault Eddy for his lack of agressiveness boxing out and defending but he's our most reliable offense in the post. We certainly cannot rely on our guards to drop 50 every night for us to win games. We ain't the damn Bulls.

We are defenetely better defensively.
And we have more balanced offense.
Even outside 52 points by Craf this was very good offensive game. moving the ball and make the opponents guessing which of multiple options we will choose.
Offense with Eddy is sooo predictable. Even caveman can figure it out

Caveman can figure it out, but can they stop it? Eddy's obviously doing something effectively.

Jamal's not gonna score 52 every night, but the team IS gonna score plenty of points without Eddy anyway as long as the other players stay healthy. This lineup would remain at least a .400 team

it kills me how little peopl think of eddy curry. we have seen what the team looks like with out eddy, they are no better off. Just a bunch of one on one. Everyone gripes about his rebounding and defense and discredits what he accomplishes on the other end of the floor. I've looked at all the games, the opposing big man is not the person who is killing us on a daily basis, it is the opposing guards and wingmen. Once the perimiter is breached then everyone is out of position. Statements like these let me know many people are unready to go throuhgh the rebuilding phase, for many on this forum, it appears Eddy has reached his celing at the age of 23. I don't see it that way. You really want to know what would make the team better and win more games is if Crawford was more consistent. If we could pencil him in for 18 -21 every night then we would definately be better. Curry is an automatic 20 every night. So please stop with we are better with out curry.

Also, what offense is not predictable when you have a dominant low post big man ? Spurs, I know their going to Duncan, Heat, I know their going to Shaq, Mavs I know their going to Dirk, doesnt mean the other team can stop it.

All I have to say to this thread is could you picture the heat having to double and Jamal getting the ball wide open to night??????

i was shocked i didn't see a "Big Turd is better than Curry" thread after that game the way some people overreact to games around here.

guys, if you want to win games w/any consistency, it's going to have to involve Curry being a dominant low post presence for us & for the team to stop turning the ball over & playing some decent help D... yes, Curry is a weak defender down low... that's no secret... but so are D Lee & Channing... we need all 3 of these guys to step up their defensive intensity & cover for each other if we want to contend anytime soon... Jamal's not gonna be in 1 of those zones every game... we need some consistency on defense.

was awesome seeing my boy Jamal go off like that tho... man, i told you guys, when he's on, he's simply unstoppable... that was a clinic he put up against that Heat team... no one could guard him... i wonder if there were any "D Wade don't play no D" threads on the Heat boards after that game the other day?
