Great point Holfresh! This is something that jsut KILLS me about some Knick fans. They can't seem to understand that this is a DEVELOPING TEAM!!!! You have to allow young players to get better and for the TEAM to jell. This is basically year one, since last year was so bad. But if they keep this up, then next year they can build off of what they learn this year and that's how a team develops.
We've still not had everyone reach their potential yet and i'm not talking about full potential, but REASONABLE potential. Guys like Frye, Nate, Balkman and even Colins, who will only get more consistent and comfortable as they move along in their careers. They don't all have to be superstars, but solid pros would help a lot and I think they have that in them. From what i've seen we can play with anyone in the East and all but the top West teams.
heh I doubt you are right about Isiah just having started a rebuild this season. if that was the case he should have done it when he first got here instead, but Im sure it isnt. in fact I dont beleive Isiah is rebuilding even now. if you think about it the knicks as a franchise has never stopped doing whatever it takes to win as many games as possible, even if it meant signing a coach who is notorious for not playing rookies to a 5 year 50 million dollar contract.
ugh, you didnt answer my question about the run! thats what i wanted to hear from you more than anything. anyway of course our players will continue to get better in the upcoming years, they are still developing. we are a lottery team now, and when they finish developing we will be a first or second round exit team instead. anyway I doubt the chemistry will ever improve becuase the roster is poorly assembled with players that dont fit. but anyway just answer my question about the run and winning 35 games.
anyway if the knicks are rebuilding than Isiah should be trying to get a player to build around soon. unless his plan is an unorthodox one that doesnt involve building around a franchise player like the detroit pistons did when they won a title 3 or so years ago, but thats kind of risky doing it that way to me becuase that strategy only worked once in like all of nba history.
